Dr. Phil Harrold has taught church history at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry since 2007, and continues to teach online in his semi-retirement. He earned his Ph.D. in church history from the University of Chicago–Divinity School in 2001. His published works have since focused on the history of secularization in American higher education, American evangelicalism, and the Episcopal Broad Church movement in the nineteenth century, He is currently writing a history of discipleship for Baker-Academic. Phil and his wife, Carol, reside in Montrose, Colorado where they attend All Saints Anglican Church.
